Helpful Tip on Exercise and How to Start your Journey
1. Wear the right clothes. You will want to wear clothes that will not restrict your movements or blood flow.
2. Wear the right shoes. Just because we call them tennis shoes does not mean they are great athletic shoes.
3 Hydrate. Drink lots of water before you exercise. Your body will need the water to help your muscles work and also to help you sweat.
Methods of Exercise:
1. Walk or jog. Walking and jogging are wonderful ways to get your heart rate up. Though jogging may be difficult on the knees for some people, walking is certainly an accessible exercise and should be done by those at every level.
2. Swim Swimming is great exercise and is fun to boot. This will work different muscles depending on the style of swimming you do.
3. Bike Riding your bike is an accessible, environmentally friendly, and very effective way to get exercise
4. Lift weights. There are many different types of weights you can lift and ways to lift them, but doing this type of exercise will help you build a variety of muscles and increase your strength.
5. Understand core exercises. Core workouts develop the muscles around your abdomen. This has many benefits. With a stronger back, you will be less prone to back pain and injury and you will also be able to improve bad posture.
Fit exercise in whenever you can. You don’t have to dedicate hours of your day to exercising. Anything helps, so find ways to fit exercise into the smaller “in between” moments of your day. You can do squats while you wait for food to cook or microwave or fit in a minute of planks when you first wake up. Look and you will find moments in your day to get a little more active.
Always make sure you cool down or warm down after your sessions
